  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

ZNF254, a member of the zinc finger protein family, has garnered significant interest in recent years due to its potential role in gene regulation and epigenetic modulation. Research indicates that ZNF254 functions as a transcriptional repressor, influencing the expression of genes involved in critical biological processes such as cell differentiation, development, and responses to environmental stimuli. Mutations or dysregulation of ZNF254 have been associated with various diseases, including cancer, highlighting the importance of understanding its functional mechanisms. The recombinant expression of ZNF254 in model systems allows for the elucidation of its structure and function, enabling researchers to explore its interactions with DNA and other cellular components. Furthermore, studying the recombinantly produced ZNF254 protein facilitates the development of potential therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating its activity for clinical applications. This research area is particularly promising as it integrates molecular biology, genetics, and biochemistry, offering insights into the fundamental principles of gene regulation and its implications in health and disease.
