Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Dynamin-2 (DNM2) is a large GTPase belonging to the dynamin family, which plays a critical role in membrane dynamics, particularly in the processes of endocytosis and vesicle trafficking. Mutations in the DNM2 gene have been implicated in various human diseases, including centronuclear myopathy and neuropathies, highlighting its importance in cellular function. Given its essential role in cellular processes, researchers have focused on characterizing DNM2's structure and function. Recombinant DNM2 protein studies have enabled the exploration of its GTPase activity, membrane binding properties, and oligomerization behavior. These studies are integral for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying DNM2's functions, as well as its involvement in disease. Additionally, the development of DNM2 inhibitors or modulators is a promising therapeutic avenue, potentially offering new treatments for conditions associated with DNM2 dysregulation. By elucidating the functional dynamics of DNM2 through recombinant protein research, scientists aim to gain deeper insights into its role in health and disease, paving the way for innovative approaches to therapeutic intervention.
