Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ESCO1, or Establishment of Sister Chromatid Cohesion 1, is a vital protein involved in the regulation of chromosome cohesion during the cell cycle, particularly during DNA replication and mitosis. Discovered through studies on the maintenance of sister chromatid integrity, ESCO1 functions in the acetylation of specific lysine residues on the cohesin complex, which is crucial for sister chromatid cohesion. Dysregulation of ESCO1 has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer, where genomic instability arises from improper chromosome segregation. Researchers have become increasingly interested in ESCO1 due to its potential as a therapeutic target in treating cancers characterized by cohesion defects. Studies focusing on the molecular mechanisms governing ESCO1 activity are essential for understanding its role in chromosomal stability and its broader implications in cell biology. Furthermore, the exploration of ESCO1's interactions with other cellular components offers valuable insights into the intricate regulatory networks that maintain genomic integrity. Thus, investigating ESCO1 not only enhances our fundamental knowledge of cell cycle regulation but also holds promise for the development of novel strategies for cancer intervention and treatment.
