Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ERRFI1, also known as ERBB receptor feedback inhibitor 1, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of various cellular processes, particularly in the context of cancer biology. It serves as a critical negative feedback regulator of the ERBB signaling pathway, which is often dysregulated in many types of cancer, leading to increased cell proliferation and survival. The study of ERRFI1 has gained importance due to its potential as a therapeutic target; its overexpression can inhibit tumor growth by impeding the signaling pathways associated with the ERBB receptors, such as EGFR and HER2. Research has shown that the expression levels of ERRFI1 are often reduced in various cancers, suggesting that loss of this regulatory mechanism may contribute to tumorigenesis. Moreover, understanding the molecular mechanisms governing ERRFI1 function can provide insights into how tumor cells evade growth control and resistance to therapies. Investigating recombinant ERRFI1 proteins can facilitate the exploration of its biochemical properties, interaction with other signaling molecules, and therapeutic applications in cancer treatment. Overall, ERRFI1 is a significant protein in cancer research, providing a promising avenue for innovative strategies in targeted therapy and personalized medicine.
