Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ERO1LB is a crucial protein involved in the oxidative folding of proteins within the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) of cells, particularly in humans. As a member of the ERO1 family, ERO1LB plays a significant role in the formation of disulfide bonds, which are essential for the proper structure and function of many proteins. This protein is particularly important in the context of cellular stress responses, where the ER may experience an increased demand for efficient protein folding. Dysregulation of ERO1LB has been linked to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and certain cancers, as improper protein folding can lead to cellular dysfunction and death. The study of ERO1LB not only provides insights into the fundamental mechanisms of protein biology but also has implications for therapeutic strategies aimed at diseases characterized by protein misfolding. Understanding the structure, function, and regulation of ERO1LB can facilitate the development of interventions that restore proper protein folding and mitigate the pathological consequences of its dysfunction. Researchers are increasingly focused on characterizing this protein through various biochemical and biophysical approaches, enabling a deeper understanding of its role in health and disease and fostering the discovery of potential drug targets related to its pathway.
