Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EPS8L2 (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Pathway Substrate 8-Like 2) is a member of the EPS8 family, which plays a crucial role in signaling pathways that regulate cell growth, proliferation, and cytoskeletal dynamics, often mediated by receptor tyrosine kinases. The research into EPS8L2 has gained traction due to its potential association with various cellular processes, including actin remodeling and cell migration, which are critical in both normal physiology and pathologies such as cancer. Studies have indicated that EPS8L2 may participate in the modulation of EGF receptor signaling, influencing pathways that are pivotal in oncogenesis. This emphasizes the necessity to explore its functional roles further, especially in the context of tumor biology, where aberrant signaling can contribute to tumor progression and metastasis. Understanding EPS8L2's mechanism of action could unveil new therapeutic targets for treating cancers that exhibit dysregulated receptor signaling. Furthermore, its interactions with other cellular proteins and its involvement in signaling cascades highlight the complexity of molecular networks within cells. As such, the characterization and functional analysis of EPS8L2 as a recombinant protein can illuminate its biological significance and potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in cancer research, paving the way for novel treatment strategies. The ongoing advancements in molecular biology techniques offer exciting prospects for dissecting the roles of EPS8L2 in health and disease, marking it as a subject of increasing interest in cellular and molecular research.
