Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
EPB41L2, also known as erythrocyte membrane protein band 4.1-like 2, is a member of the band 4.1 family of proteins that play crucial roles in maintaining cytoskeletal integrity and regulating cell membrane dynamics. Recent studies have indicated that EPB41L2 is involved in various cellular processes, including cell signaling, adhesion, and migration, making it a key player in the context of cellular physiology and pathology. The protein is highly expressed in certain tissues, and its expression has been linked to several diseases, including cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Research focusing on the recombinant production of EPB41L2 allows for detailed functional studies and the potential development of therapeutic strategies targeting EPB41L2-related pathways. Furthermore, understanding the structure and function of this protein could shed light on its role in disease mechanisms and open avenues for biomarker development. By creating and studying recombinant EPB41L2, researchers aim to elucidate its interactions with other cellular components and explore its potential applications in medical research and treatment.
