  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

EPB41L1, also known as erythrocyte membrane protein band 4.1-like 1, is a member of the band 4.1 family of proteins, which are essential for maintaining the structural integrity and functionality of cell membranes. Research on EPB41L1 has gained momentum due to its role in various biological processes, including cell adhesion, proliferation, and cytoskeletal organization. Alterations in EPB41L1 expression and function have been implicated in several diseases, such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The study of recombinant EPB41L1 proteins enables researchers to explore the structural and functional relationships of this protein, providing insights into its mechanisms in cellular contexts. Moreover, understanding the interactions of EPB41L1 with other cellular components can reveal its significance in signal transduction pathways. The production of recombinant EPB41L1 also allows for the development of specific antibodies and inhibitors, facilitating further studies on its biological roles and applications in clinical settings. Overall, the investigation of recombinant EPB41L1 is crucial for elucidating its contributions to cell biology and disease progression.
