Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PPP2R4, or Protein Phosphatase 2 Regulatory Subunit B'gamma, is an important regulatory component of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A), a critical serine/threonine phosphatase that modulates various cellular processes, including cell growth, division, and apoptosis. The study of PPP2R4 has gained attention due to its role in cancer and other diseases, as abnormal PP2A activity is often linked to tumorigenesis. Dysfunction in the regulatory subunits, like PPP2R4, can lead to altered phosphatase activities, contributing to the malignancy of various cancer types. Researches have demonstrated that PPP2R4 overexpression can disrupt normal cellular signaling pathways, further implicating it in oncogenic processes. Furthermore, the protein's interactions with other regulatory proteins suggest its involvement in a complex network governing cell signaling. Understanding the structure and function of recombinant PPP2R4 is crucial for developing targeted therapeutics that can restore normal PP2A activity. By studying its biochemical properties and interactions, researchers hope to uncover novel mechanisms of action and identify potential biomarkers for cancer diagnosis and prognosis. The generation of PPP2R4 recombinant proteins allows for the exploration of its functional roles in vitro and in vivo, providing insights that could lead to innovative strategies for cancer treatment and a deeper understanding of cellular homeostasis.
