Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
ENTPD4, or ecto-nucleotide triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 4, is an important enzyme belonging to the ecto-nucleotide triphosphate hydrolase family, which plays a crucial role in nucleotide metabolism and regulation of extracellular nucleotide levels. This protein is primarily found on the cell surface and is involved in hydrolyzing various nucleotides, such as ATP and ADP, into their monophosphate forms, thereby modulating purinergic signaling pathways that are essential for various physiological processes, including inflammation, cell proliferation, and apoptosis. Research into ENTPD4 has gained momentum due to its potential implications in various diseases, notably cancer and chronic inflammatory disorders. Elevated levels of this enzyme have been associated with tumor growth and metastasis, suggesting that ENTPD4 could serve as a potential biomarker or therapeutic target in oncology. Furthermore, studies have indicated that inhibiting ENTPD4 activity could enhance the effects of chemotherapy by altering the tumor microenvironment and improving immune responses. Given its significant roles in cellular communication and immune modulation, understanding the structure, function, and regulation of ENTPD4 is critical for developing novel therapeutic strategies aimed at manipulating purinergic signaling for clinical benefits. The development of recombinant ENTPD4 proteins has facilitated such investigations, allowing for the analysis of its enzymatic properties and interactions with substrates and inhibitors, thereby providing insights that could lead to innovative treatments for various pathological conditions.
