Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TERF2IP, also known as TEP1 or TRF2-interacting protein, is a critical component involved in maintaining telomere integrity and regulating cellular senescence. Its primary function centers around the shelterin complex, which protects telomeric DNA from damage and prevents it from being recognized as DNA double-strand breaks. Research has indicated that TERF2IP plays a significant role in the stabilization of telomeres, thereby influencing gene expression and cellular aging processes. The dysfunction or downregulation of TERF2IP is often associated with various age-related diseases and cancers, highlighting its importance in both aging biology and tumorigenesis. The study of TERF2IP recombinant protein offers valuable insights into its functional mechanisms and interactions within the shelterin complex, enabling researchers to explore potential therapeutic targets for diseases linked to telomere dysfunction. Understanding the protein's structure and interactions can reveal how it contributes to genomic stability and may lead to innovative strategies for cancer treatment and aging interventions. As research continues to uncover the multifaceted roles of TERF2IP, it presents a promising avenue for advancing our knowledge of telomere biology and its implications in health and disease.
