Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
BCR (breakpoint cluster region) protein, a key player in cell signaling, has garnered significant attention in cancer research, particularly due to its association with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The BCR-ABL fusion protein, resulting from a chromosomal translocation involving the BCR gene on chromosome 22 and the ABL gene on chromosome 9, leads to uncontrolled cellular proliferation and is a hallmark of CML. This fusion protein exhibits constitutive tyrosine kinase activity, driving oncogenic signaling pathways. As researchers delve into the molecular mechanisms underlying BCR-ABL-mediated cancer progression, the study of BCR recombinant proteins has become essential for understanding their structure-function relationships. Recombinant BCR proteins can be used to investigate the biochemical properties and interaction networks of the BCR-ABL fusion, facilitating the development of targeted therapies. Additionally, the expression of BCR-derived proteins in various model systems allows for the elucidation of signaling cascades activated by BCR-ABL and the identification of potential drug targets. The advancement of BCR recombinant protein research not only contributes to a deeper understanding of leukemia pathogenesis but also paves the way for innovative treatment strategies, including tyrosine kinase inhibitors and immunotherapeutic approaches. As scientists continue to explore the complexities of BCR protein functions, this research holds promise for improving clinical outcomes for patients affected by BCR-ABL-related malignancies.
