Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DUX5 is a transcription factor that plays a critical role in regulating gene expression during early embryonic development and has garnered significant attention in recent years due to its implications in various biological processes and diseases. Research has shown that DUX5 is primarily expressed in pluripotent cells, where it is implicated in the maintenance of cell identity and the activation of developmental programs. Its unique structure, containing specific DNA-binding domains, suggests a function in orchestrating the expression of target genes essential for developmental timing and lineage specification. Additionally, studies highlight its involvement in the circadian regulation of genes and its potential role in certain cancers, including its association with genomic instability. The recombinant protein of DUX5 is being utilized in various experimental approaches to dissect its functional mechanisms and interactions with other molecular partners. This research could enhance our understanding of stem cell biology, developmental processes, and the intricate networks of gene regulation, which may eventually lead to novel therapeutic strategies for regenerative medicine and cancer treatment. By producing DUX5 in a recombinant form, scientists aim to elucidate its biological functions more clearly, paving the way for advancements in both fundamental biology and clinical applications.
