Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
YTHDC1 (YTH domain containing 1) is a member of the YTH domain-containing protein family, which is known for its role in recognizing and binding to N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modified RNA. This modification is a prevalent and crucial post-transcriptional modification that regulates various aspects of RNA biology, including splicing, translation, and degradation. Research has shown that YTHDC1 plays significant roles in RNA metabolism and cellular processes, such as embryonic development, cell differentiation, and the maintenance of stem cell pluripotency. Dysregulation of YTHDC1 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic target. The study of YTHDC1 recombinant protein focuses on understanding its specific biochemical properties, binding interactions with RNA substrates, and regulatory mechanisms in cellular contexts. By producing and characterizing recombinant YTHDC1, researchers aim to elucidate its functional roles and contribute to the broader understanding of m6A-mediated regulatory networks in health and disease. Such knowledge could pave the way for innovative therapeutic strategies targeting m6A modifications in various pathological conditions.
