Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DUSP16, or Dual Specificity Phosphatase 16, is a member of the dual specificity phosphatase family, which plays a crucial role in regulating various signaling pathways by dephosphorylating both tyrosine and serine/threonine residues. Research on DUSP16 has gained momentum due to its potential involvement in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis, particularly in the context of cancer and immune responses. DUSP16 has been shown to modulate MAPK (Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase) signaling cascades, which are critical for cell communication and response to extracellular stimuli. Notably, dysregulation of phosphatase activity, including that of DUSP16, could contribute to oncogenesis and tumor progression. As a result, recombinant DUSP16 protein has become a focal point for studies aimed at understanding its function and regulatory mechanisms. The production of recombinant DUSP16 allows researchers to investigate its biochemical properties, interaction with other signaling molecules, and potential roles in various diseases. Additionally, revealing the structure-function relationship of DUSP16 through crystallography and biochemical assays may pave the way for targeted therapeutic strategies and provide insights into its role as a tumor suppressor or promoter depending on the cellular context. Overall, the study of recombinant DUSP16 protein is crucial for elucidating its complex role in cell signaling and its implications for cancer biology and therapy.
