Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PC (phosphorylcholine) recombinant proteins have garnered significant attention in the field of molecular biology and immunology due to their potential applications in vaccine development and therapeutic interventions. Phosphorylcholine is a small phospholipid molecule found in various biological systems, particularly associated with bacterial pathogens. The immune system's ability to recognize and respond to phosphorylcholine has implications for designing vaccines that can elicit strong humoral and cellular immune responses. Researchers have explored the production of PC recombinant proteins as a means to enhance the immunogenicity of antigens, particularly in the context of polysaccharide-based vaccines. By conjugating PC to polysaccharides, scientists aim to create more effective vaccines that can stimulate a robust immune response against encapsulated bacteria, such as Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae type b. Furthermore, PC recombinant proteins can serve as tools to study the immunological mechanisms underlying immune responses to bacterial infections, providing insights into the design of novel therapeutic strategies. This research area continues to evolve, with studies focusing on optimizing the expression systems for PC recombinant proteins, enhancing their stability, and characterizing their immunological properties. Through these innovative approaches, researchers seek to harness the unique properties of phosphorylcholine to improve vaccine efficacy and develop new treatments for infectious diseases.
