Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
C5aR1, also known as the complement component 5a receptor 1, is a prominent G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in the immune response. It is primarily activated by C5a, a potent anaphylatoxin generated during complement activation, which is involved in various inflammatory processes. Research on C5aR1 has gained significant attention due to its involvement in numerous diseases, including autoimmune disorders, sepsis, and cancer. Dysregulation of C5aR1 signaling can lead to excessive inflammation and tissue damage, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. Recombinant C5aR1 proteins are essential for studying the receptor's structure, function, and interactions with ligands and downstream signaling pathways. By employing techniques such as molecular cloning and protein expression systems, researchers can produce these recombinant proteins for characterization and functional assays. Understanding the binding affinity of C5a to its receptor, along with the subsequent signaling cascades, can provide insights into the biological mechanisms underlying various pathological conditions. Investigations into the modulation of C5aR1 activity also hold promise for developing novel immunotherapies, aiming to effectively manage inflammation and improve patient outcomes in related diseases.
