Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WHAMM (WASP homology protein with a morphogenetic motif) is a crucial protein involved in various cellular processes, including endocytosis and intracellular trafficking. Recent studies have highlighted its role in membrane dynamics and actin cytoskeleton organization, which are vital for maintaining cellular integrity and function. WHAMM acts as an essential adaptor protein, linking different cellular pathways and facilitating the formation of membrane protrusions. The interest in WHAMM has surged due to its potential implications in understanding diseases related to cellular mismanagement, such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders. Researchers aim to explore the structural and functional characteristics of WHAMM through recombinant protein techniques to elucidate its mechanisms of action and interactions with other cellular components. By producing WHAMM as a recombinant protein, scientists can conduct detailed biochemical assays, including binding studies and structural analyses using techniques like X-ray crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy. Understanding WHAMM's structure and function may uncover new therapeutic targets and strategies for diseases where cellular dynamics are compromised. Overall, the study of WHAMM as a recombinant protein not only provides insights into fundamental cellular mechanisms but also holds promise for advancing translational research in medicine.
