  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

FOXO1, a member of the Forkhead box O (FOXO) transcription factor family, plays a pivotal role in various biological processes, including metabolism, cell cycle regulation, and apoptosis. Its significance in insulin signaling and stress resistance has made it a focal point in diabetes and cancer research. Dysregulation of FOXO1 has been implicated in the pathogenesis of numerous diseases, prompting investigations into its functional roles and regulatory mechanisms. Researchers have explored FOXO1's ability to modulate gene expression in response to oxidative stress and nutrient availability, revealing its influence on cellular homeostasis and longevity. The study of FOXO1 recombinant proteins has emerged as a critical approach to elucidate the specific pathways and interactions in which FOXO1 is involved, particularly in manipulating its activity for therapeutic benefits. By generating recombinant FOXO1 proteins, scientists can investigate the structural and functional dynamics of FOXO1 in various cellular contexts, providing insights into its regulatory mechanisms and potential as a drug target. Furthermore, understanding how FOXO1 interacts with other signaling pathways can lead to novel strategies for overcoming insulin resistance and inhibiting tumor growth, marking FOXO1 as a promising candidate for future biomedical applications. Overall, the research on FOXO1 recombinant proteins is crucial for advancing our knowledge of this transcription factor and developing targeted therapies for metabolic disorders and cancer, reflecting its importance in maintaining cellular health and function.
