Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TAOK2 (TAO Kinase 2) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a critical role in various cellular processes, including the regulation of the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) signaling pathways, which are essential for cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. Recent studies have highlighted the significance of TAOK2 in neurodevelopmental and psychiatric disorders, with mutations in the TAOK2 gene being associated with conditions such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disability. The functional characterization of TAOK2 is crucial for understanding its role in these diseases, as it may serve as a potential therapeutic target. Research involving the recombinant expression of TAOK2 protein allows scientists to investigate its biochemical properties, interaction with other signaling molecules, and impact on cellular functions. By studying the structure and activity of TAOK2, researchers aim to unveil the mechanisms underlying its involvement in disease pathogenesis, which could further lead to the development of novel strategies for diagnosis and treatment. Furthermore, understanding the functional dynamics of TAOK2 can provide insights into the broader implications of MAPK signaling in cellular homeostasis and the nervous system. Overall, the recombinant TAOK2 protein serves as a valuable tool for elucidating the complex signaling networks that govern critical biological processes, thereby contributing to the advancement of both basic and applied biomedical research.
