Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TAOK1 (TAO Kinase 1) is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and apoptosis. It is part of the TAO family of kinases that are known to be activated by the presence of Rho GTPases, which are critical regulators of the cytoskeleton and cellular signaling pathways. Research has indicated that TAOK1 is involved in the development of neurodegenerative diseases and certain types of cancer, making it a significant target for therapeutic intervention. Moreover, studies suggest that TAOK1 may influence neuronal survival and stress response mechanisms, further establishing its importance in neurobiology. The investigation of TAOK1 recombinant proteins provides valuable insights into its functional properties, molecular interactions, and potential roles in pathological conditions. Understanding the structure-function relationship of TAOK1 through intensive research may not only elucidate its mechanism of action but also pave the way for novel drug development aimed at modulating its activity in disease contexts. As such, recombinant TAOK1 proteins serve as essential tools for studying its biological functions and therapeutic implications.
