Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
TAF6 (TBP-associated factor 6) is a crucial component of the TFIID complex, a key player in the transcription initiation process of eukaryotic genes. This protein is vital for the recruitment of RNA polymerase II to promoters, influencing gene expression and regulating various cellular processes. Research into TAF6 and its role in transcriptional regulation has gained momentum due to its implications in numerous biological functions and disease states. Abnormalities in TAF6 expression or function have been linked to several pathologies, including cancer and neurological disorders, underscoring the necessity for detailed studies on its structure and interactions. The recombinant expression of TAF6 proteins in various systems allows researchers to elucidate the protein’s functional domains, post-translational modifications, and interactions with other transcriptional machinery components. Utilizing recombinant TAF6 can facilitate biochemical assays and structural analyses, enabling the exploration of its mechanistic roles and potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding TAF6's involvement in these processes may offer insights into developmental biology and disease mechanisms, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies. Thus, the study of recombinant TAF6 is integral to advancing our knowledge of gene regulation and its broader implications in health and disease.
