Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Fibroblast growth factor 11 (FGF11) is a member of the FGF family, which plays crucial roles in various biological processes, including development, cellular proliferation, differentiation, and tissue repair. Unlike other FGFs that primarily function through receptor-mediated signaling pathways, FGF11 is unique in that it interacts with intracellular targets rather than cell surface receptors. This distinction highlights its potential significance in intracellular signaling mechanisms, particularly in the nervous system and cardiac tissues. Recent studies suggest that FGF11 may be linked to neurodegenerative diseases and cardiac disorders, underscoring the importance of understanding its molecular functions. The research on recombinant FGF11 protein primarily focuses on its structural and functional properties, which are essential for elucidating its role in health and disease. Advances in recombinant protein technology have enabled the production of FGF11 in sufficient quantities for biochemical and biophysical characterization. This has paved the way for investigating its interactions with other proteins and cellular components, thus laying the groundwork for potential therapeutic applications. Understanding the biological roles and mechanisms of FGF11 through recombinant protein studies could lead to novel insights into its function in pathological conditions and contribute to the development of targeted treatments. The exploration of FGF11 not only expands our knowledge of FGF family members but also provides a valuable framework for investigating similar growth factors and their intricate roles in cellular dynamics.
