  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

TAB1 (Transforming Growth Factor beta-Activated Kinase 1 Binding Protein 1) is a crucial regulator in multiple signaling pathways, particularly in the context of immune responses and stress signaling. TAB1 plays a significant role in mediating the cellular responses to pro-inflammatory cytokines and stress signals by interacting with various kinases, notably TAK1 (Transforming Growth Factor-Activated Kinase 1). This interaction is pivotal in the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) and nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B cells (NF-κB), key pathways in inflammation and apoptosis. Recent studies have shown that dysregulation of TAB1 expression and function can contribute to several pathological conditions, including cancer, chronic inflammation, and autoimmune diseases. Research on TAB1 has aimed to elucidate its structural characteristics, molecular interactions, and regulatory mechanisms, paving the way for novel therapeutic strategies targeting its pathways. Understanding the intricate role of TAB1 in health and disease not only provides insights into basic cellular processes but also opens avenues for the development of biomolecular therapies that could effectively intervene in serious health conditions linked to aberrant signaling pathways.
