Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SUV39H1, a member of the SU(VAR)3-9 family of proteins, is known for its role in heterochromatin formation and transcriptional regulation through histone methylation. Its primary function involves tri-methylating histone H3 at lysine 9 (H3K9me3), a mark associated with gene silencing and chromatin compaction. Understanding the mechanisms of SUV39H1 is critical, as dysregulation of its activity has been implicated in various diseases, including cancer and developmental disorders. Research into SUV39H1's structure and function has gained momentum due to its potential as a therapeutic target for epigenetic modulation. Recent advancements in protein engineering and structural biology have enabled scientists to create recombinant forms of SUV39H1, facilitating in-depth studies of its enzymatic activity, interaction with other chromatin-related proteins, and its influence on gene expression. These studies aim to elucidate the specific pathways through which SUV39H1 operates within the cell, as well as its broader impact on cellular phenotype and identity. Furthermore, exploring the effects of post-translational modifications on SUV39H1 function could reveal novel regulatory mechanisms. As researchers continue to unravel the complexities of epigenetic regulation, the investigation of SUV39H1 represents a promising avenue for developing innovative strategies in disease intervention and understanding fundamental biological processes.
