Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WISP1 (WNT1 inducible signaling pathway protein 1) is a member of the CCN (connective tissue growth factor, cysteine-rich 61, and nephroblastoma overexpressed protein) family, known for its roles in cell proliferation, differentiation, and organ development. The study of WISP1 is crucial as it is implicated in various diseases, including cancer, fibrosis, and cardiovascular disorders. Its expression is regulated by the WNT signaling pathway, which is vital for embryogenesis and tissue homeostasis. Research has shown that dysregulation of WISP1 contributes to tumorigenesis and can affect the progression of multiple cancers. Additionally, WISP1 plays a role in promoting an inflammatory environment that is conducive to tumor growth. The recombinant WISP1 protein serves as a valuable tool for investigating its biological functions and therapeutic potential. Understanding the structure-function relationship of this protein can help elucidate its mechanisms in pathological conditions, paving the way for innovative strategies in disease treatment. The production of recombinant WISP1 facilitates studies into its interactions with other cellular proteins and pathways, enhancing our comprehension of its contribution to disease biology and potential as a therapeutic target. This protein's unique properties and molecular interactions make it an important subject for further exploration in the context of cell signaling and cancer biology.
