Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
WDR16, or WD repeat domain 16, is a protein implicated in various cellular processes, including gene regulation, signal transduction, and the maintenance of genomic stability. Its distinctive structure features multiple WD repeat domains, which are known to mediate protein-protein interactions. Recent studies have highlighted WDR16's involvement in the regulation of transcription, particularly in the context of developmental processes and responses to environmental stimuli. Dysregulation of WDR16 has been linked to several diseases, including cancers and developmental disorders, prompting interest in understanding its functional mechanisms. Researchers are particularly focused on the role of WDR16 in modulating the activity of other transcription factors and its potential interactions with chromatin remodeling complexes. The recombinant expression of WDR16 allows for detailed biochemical and biophysical characterizations, facilitating insights into its functional domains and interaction partners. Investigating WDR16 through recombinant protein studies is crucial for elucidating its role in cell signaling pathways and its potential as a therapeutic target in disease contexts. Overall, the study of WDR16 reconstituted as a recombinant protein is a valuable approach in molecular biology that may lead to significant advancements in understanding its biological roles and therapeutic implications.
