Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SUZ12, a key component of the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2), plays a critical role in regulating gene expression through chromatin modification and repression. It is essential for maintaining embryonic stem cell pluripotency and has been implicated in various developmental processes. Dysregulation of SUZ12 and PRC2 activity is linked to numerous diseases, including cancer, where abnormal gene silencing can lead to tumorigenesis. Recent studies have highlighted the importance of SUZ12 in epigenetic regulation and its potential as a therapeutic target. Understanding the structure and function of SUZ12, particularly through recombinant protein studies, offers insights into its mechanistic roles in cellular processes and disease pathology. Advances in recombinant DNA technology have enabled the production of SUZ12 protein for biochemical assays, facilitating the exploration of its interactions with other epigenetic modifiers and transcription factors. This research domain holds promise for developing innovative strategies to modulate PRC2 activity and restore normal gene expression patterns in disease contexts. Overall, the investigation of SUZ12's molecular functions not only enriches our understanding of epigenetic regulation but also paves the way for novel therapeutic interventions in cancer and other disorders associated with epigenetic dysregulation.
