Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Interleukin 17D (IL-17D) is a member of the IL-17 family of cytokines, which play a significant role in immune responses and inflammation. Its discovery in recent years has sparked interest due to its potential implications in various diseases, particularly autoimmune disorders, cancers, and infectious diseases. Research has shown that IL-17D is involved in promoting tissue inflammation and influencing the activation of immune cells. Unlike other IL-17 family members, the exact biological function of IL-17D remains less understood, necessitating further investigation. Studies have indicated that IL-17D may enhance the proliferation and activation of T cells, linking it to both adaptive and innate immune responses. Additionally, its expression has been associated with certain pathological conditions, raising the question of whether IL-17D could serve as a therapeutic target or biomarker for disease progression. The generation of recombinant IL-17D proteins is therefore essential for elucidating its biological role and therapeutic potential. This recombinant protein can be utilized to study the signaling pathways it activates, its interactions with immune cells, and its effects in vivo. Understanding IL-17D's mechanisms could pave the way for developing novel strategies to manage diseases where this cytokine plays a critical role, highlighting the importance of ongoing research in this area.
