Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
VPS11 is a crucial component of the vacuolar protein sorting (VPS) pathway, playing a significant role in vesicular trafficking and protein sorting within eukaryotic cells. The VPS pathway is essential for the proper localization of proteins to vacuoles or lysosomes, which are vital for cellular homeostasis and organelle function. Dysregulation of VPS proteins, including VPS11, has been implicated in various human diseases, particularly neurodegenerative disorders and cancers. The study of VPS11 as a recombinant protein has gained attention due to its potential impact on understanding intracellular transport mechanisms and its implications in disease pathology. By expressing VPS11 as a recombinant protein, researchers aim to investigate its structural characteristics, functional roles in vesicle formation and fusion, and interactions with other VPS components, elucidating its involvement in the sorting process. Furthermore, understanding the mechanisms governing VPS11 function can provide insights into developing therapeutic strategies for conditions resulting from VPS dysfunction. This research not only enhances the fundamental knowledge of cellular trafficking but also opens avenues for pharmacological interventions targeting VPS-related pathologies. Overall, VPS11 represents a significant focus in cell biology, highlighting the intricate and critical nature of protein sorting and trafficking within cells.
