Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Slit3 (Slit guidance ligand 3) is a member of the Slit protein family, which plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including neuronal development, cell migration, and organogenesis. Initially identified for its function in the nervous system, Slit3 acts as a chemorepulsive signal, guiding neurons during axon growth and preventing aberrant cell movement. Recent studies have also highlighted its significance in non-neuronal contexts, such as cancer progression and tissue regeneration. Given its multifaceted roles, Slit3 has garnered attention for its potential therapeutic applications, particularly in oncology, where it may influence tumor microenvironment interactions and metastatic behavior. The recombinant expression of Slit3 protein allows researchers to explore its functional dynamics in controlled environments, facilitating the investigation of its molecular signaling pathways and interactions with its receptors, such as Robo1 and Robo2. Understanding the mechanisms of Slit3-mediated signaling not only advances our knowledge of developmental biology and pathophysiology but also opens avenues for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating Slit3's effects in various diseases.
