Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SRGAP3 (Slit-Robo GTPase-activating protein 3) is a critical regulator of neuronal development, known for its role in the formation of cortical structures and synaptic plasticity. It belongs to the SRGAP (Slit-Robo GTPase-activating protein) family, which is involved in the signaling pathways that govern cell migration and morphology during brain development. Researchers have shown that SRGAP3 interacts with various signaling proteins, influencing processes such as dendritic spine formation and synaptic connectivity. Abnormalities in SRGAP3 expression have been implicated in neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorders and schizophrenia. Recent studies highlight the potential of SRGAP3 as a therapeutic target due to its involvement in synaptic regulation and cognitive functions. By utilizing recombinant protein technologies, scientists aim to further elucidate the exact mechanisms by which SRGAP3 operates within cellular contexts. Understanding the structure-function relationship of SRGAP3 could lead to breakthroughs in both basic neuroscience and clinical applications, making it a focus of ongoing research. The ability to produce SRGAP3 as a recombinant protein enables detailed biochemical assays and structural studies, opening avenues for potential drug development that could modulate its activity for therapeutic purposes in neurodevelopmental disorders.
