Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SESN3 (Sestrin-3) is a member of the Sestrin family of proteins, which play significant roles in cellular stress response, metabolism, and aging. Research has shown that SESN3 is involved in regulating the autophagy process, reactive oxygen species (ROS) homeostasis, and the response to nutrient stress, making it integral to various physiological and pathological conditions. In particular, SESN3 has garnered attention in studies related to cancer, neurodegeneration, and metabolic disorders, as its expression levels can influence cell survival and tissue homeostasis. The potential of SESN3 as a therapeutic target lies in its ability to modulate cell signaling pathways associated with these diseases. Importantly, SESN3 can act as an upstream regulator of the mTOR pathway, which is crucial for cell growth and metabolism. Given the increasing interest in targeting metabolic pathways for disease intervention, SESN3 presents a promising avenue for further investigation, particularly in understanding its mechanisms of action and potential applications in regenerative medicine and cancer therapy. Therefore, the study of SESN3 recombinant proteins not only enhances our understanding of its biological functions but also paves the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating SESN3 activity in various diseases. Research involving the purification and characterization of SESN3 recombinant proteins is essential to elucidate its structure-function relationship and establish its potential as a biomarker or therapeutic target in clinical settings.
