  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

NAT8L, or N-acetyltransferase 8-like protein, is a member of the N-acetyltransferase family, implicated in various biological processes, including amino acid metabolism and neurotransmitter modification. This protein has drawn significant interest due to its potential links to several metabolic disorders and its role in the regulation of nutrient sensing and cellular responses. Research has shown that NAT8L exhibits distinct enzymatic activity that can influence the acetylation of various substrates, thereby impacting cellular signaling pathways and metabolic outcomes. Understanding the functional dynamics of NAT8L is crucial, as perturbations in its activity may contribute to the pathogenesis of diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and certain neurodegenerative conditions. Recent studies have focused on the structural characterization of NAT8L to elucidate its enzymatic mechanisms, substrate specificity, and regulatory factors. This knowledge is expected to pave the way for novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating NAT8L activity, thus providing potential insights into metabolic regulation and disease intervention. The ongoing research into NAT8L not only highlights its importance in metabolic pathways but also underscores the need for further investigation into its role in health and disease.
