Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DHRS7B, a member of the short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR) superfamily, plays a significant role in various biological processes, including steroid hormone metabolism and lipid homeostasis. It is primarily expressed in liver tissues and has been implicated in the regulation of retinoic acid metabolism, influencing embryonic development and cellular differentiation. Recent studies have highlighted its association with several metabolic disorders, making it a potential therapeutic target. Research on recombinantly expressed DHRS7B focuses on elucidating its enzymatic mechanisms and substrate specificity, thus providing insights into its biological functions and potential roles in disease. The successful expression and purification of the DHRS7B protein pave the way for structural studies and functional assays, which are crucial for understanding its role in metabolic pathways and evaluating its therapeutic potential. Furthermore, exploring the interplay between DHRS7B and other metabolic enzymes could open new avenues for targeted interventions in metabolic diseases, emphasizing the importance of this protein in biomedical research.
