Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
PYGO1, also known as Pygopus homolog 1, is a critical component in the Wnt signaling pathway, which plays a fundamental role in various developmental processes and cellular functions. Research into PYGO1 has been gaining momentum due to its involvement in gene regulation and its potential implications in cancer biology. This protein acts as a transcriptional co-activator that interacts with beta-catenin, facilitating the expression of Wnt target genes. Aberrant activation of the Wnt pathway, often associated with mutations or dysregulation of components like PYGO1, has been linked to several types of cancers, including colorectal and breast cancer. The study of recombinant PYGO1 can provide insights into its structural and functional properties, aiding in the understanding of its role in tumorigenesis. Additionally, characterizing PYGO1 may unveil potential therapeutic targets, as modulating Wnt signaling could offer a novel approach to cancer treatment. Understanding the mechanisms of PYGO1’s action could lead to significant advancements in targeted therapies and personalized medicine strategies in oncology. Hence, ongoing research focuses on the purification, structural analysis, and functional characterization of recombinant PYGO1 to explore its biological significance and therapeutic potential.
