Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SPATA16, or Spermatogenesis Associated 16, is a gene encoding a protein that has gained attention in the field of reproductive biology and spermatogenesis studies. Initially identified as part of a cluster of genes implicated in male germ cell development, SPATA16 has been linked to various cellular processes, including gametogenesis and the regulation of cellular apoptosis. Its expression is predominantly observed in the testis, suggesting a crucial role in male fertility. Recent studies have highlighted that mutations or dysregulation of SPATA16 can lead to serious male infertility issues, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions and a biomarker for fertility assessments. Additionally, research on SPATA16 has expanded to investigate its involvement in other biological contexts, such as stem cell biology and cancer, given its role in cellular differentiation and proliferation. By elucidating the molecular mechanisms of SPATA16, researchers aim to better understand its contributions not only to reproductive health but also to broader biological processes that could have implications in various diseases and therapeutic strategies.
