Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DeoC, or deoxyribose phosphate aldolase, is an enzyme that plays a crucial role in the salvage pathway of nucleotide metabolism, specifically in converting 2-deoxyribose-5-phosphate into glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate and acetaldehyde. This process is essential for the recycling of nucleotides, which are fundamental for DNA synthesis and cellular energy metabolism. The study of DeoC recombinant proteins has garnered attention due to its potential applications in biotechnology and medicine. Understanding the enzymatic mechanisms and structural properties of DeoC can aid in the development of therapeutic interventions for diseases related to nucleic acid metabolism, such as cancer and genetic disorders. Furthermore, the recombinant production of DeoC allows for detailed biochemical characterization and optimization for industrial processes, such as the synthesis of nucleotides and nucleosides. By elucidating its kinetic properties and substrate specificity, researchers hope to enhance the efficiency of biosynthetic pathways that are pivotal for various applications, including drug development and metabolic engineering. The generation of DeoC in recombinant systems also facilitates high-throughput screening and the design of enzyme inhibitors, which could lead to novel therapeutic strategies. Overall, the investigation of DeoC recombinant proteins is a significant area of research that bridges fundamental biochemistry and practical applications, highlighting the enzyme’s importance in both health and industry.
