  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

AGGF1 (angiogenic factor with GPatch and FHA domains 1) is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its role in promoting angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing ones, which is a critical process in both normal physiological functions and pathological conditions such as cancer and ischemia. Initially identified as a putative oncogene, AGGF1 is involved in various cellular processes, including vascular endothelial cell proliferation and migration, thus playing a significant part in the regulation of blood vessel formation. Studies suggest that AGGF1 can modulate the signaling pathways associated with vascular growth factors, such as VEGF (vascular endothelial growth factor). Furthermore, AGGF1 has been implicated in several diseases where abnormal angiogenesis occurs, making it a potential target for therapeutic interventions. Investigations into the structure and function of AGGF1 have highlighted its unique domains, which may be crucial for its interaction with other proteins and regulatory mechanisms in angiogenesis. The development of AGGF1 recombinant protein for research purposes allows a deeper understanding of its biological functions and potential roles in disease processes. By exploring AGGF1's mechanisms, researchers aim to discover new approaches for treating conditions associated with aberrant blood vessel growth, thereby contributing to the advancement of targeted therapies in oncology and regenerative medicine.
