  • Stability Test

The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

  • Storage & Shelf Life

Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Shipping

In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description

The BAT3 protein, also known as UVRAG (UV radiation resistance-associated gene), belongs to a group of proteins involved in essential cellular processes, including autophagy, endocytosis, and immune responses. Research into BAT3 and its restructured variants has gained momentum in recent years due to its crucial role in tumor suppression and potential implications in cancer therapy. BAT3 is known to facilitate the activation and maturation of immune responses by enhancing the presentation of antigenic peptides on major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules, thereby impacting T-cell activation. Additionally, its involvement in the autophagic process highlights its potential as a therapeutic target in various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes, by mediating the degradation of damaged organelles and proteins. Moreover, structural studies of BAT3, particularly focusing on its interactions with other proteins and cellular pathways, have provided vital insights into its function and regulation. Understanding the molecular mechanisms governing BAT3's activity can reveal new avenues for developing antiviral and anticancer therapies, emphasizing its significance in both fundamental biology and clinical applications. Ongoing research continues to explore the potential of BAT3 as a biomarker for disease prognosis and its applicability in personalized medicine, solidifying its relevance in current biomedical research and therapeutic innovations.
