Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
STARD7, a member of the StAR (Steroidogenic Acute Regulatory) protein family, plays a crucial role in the transport of lipids and the regulation of steroid hormone biosynthesis. Its function is particularly significant in the context of cellular metabolism and lipid homeostasis. Research into STARD7 has gained momentum due to its implications in various physiological and pathological conditions, including metabolic disorders and cancer. Understanding the mechanisms by which STARD7 operates, particularly its protein-protein interactions and lipid-binding capabilities, can illuminate its role in cellular signaling pathways and mitochondrial functionality. Recent studies have utilized recombinant DNA technology to produce STARD7, enabling the study of its structure and function in vitro. This research paves the way for potential therapeutic interventions targeting STARD7-related pathways, highlighting its importance in both basic and applied biomedical research. Continued exploration of STARD7 is essential for developing strategies to manipulate its activity, with implications for treating diseases where lipid metabolism and steroidogenesis are disrupted.
