Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DCAMKL1 (Dendritic Cell-Associated Molecule Kinase-Like 1) is a protein that has garnered attention in recent years due to its potential role in regulating stem cell properties and cancer biology. As a member of the CAMK (calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase) family, DCAMKL1 is primarily expressed in embryonic and adult stem cells, particularly in the nervous system and various tissues. Studies have indicated that DCAMKL1 may be involved in the maintenance of pluripotency and the balance between self-renewal and differentiation in stem cells. Furthermore, its aberrant expression has been linked to the progression of several cancer types, including gliomas and colorectal cancer, raising interest in its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant form of DCAMKL1 allows researchers to study its biological functions more effectively, providing insights into its structure-function relationships and mechanisms of action. Recent advances in protein engineering and recombinant technology have made it feasible to produce DCAMKL1 in sufficient quantities for detailed biochemical and biophysical analyses. Understanding the functional implications of DCAMKL1 and its pathways could lead to novel strategies for regenerative medicine and cancer treatment, making it a focal point for ongoing research in molecular biology and therapeutic development.
