Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
DACT2, or Dapper Antagonist of β-Catenin 2, is a protein that plays a crucial role in the regulation of the Wnt signaling pathway, which is essential for various developmental processes and cellular functions. The aberrant activation of Wnt signaling is implicated in numerous diseases, including cancer, making DACT2 a significant focus of research. Initial studies have suggested that DACT2 acts as an antagonist of β-catenin, a central mediator of Wnt signaling, thereby modulating the pathway's activity. The understanding of DACT2's structure-function relationship, along with its interactions and regulatory mechanisms, is vital for elucidating its role in cellular signaling and its potential as a therapeutic target. Research efforts have aimed at producing recombinant DACT2 proteins to study its biochemical properties and interactions in detail, contributing to a better understanding of its function in normal physiology and disease states. These insights could lead to novel strategies for manipulating Wnt signaling in therapeutic contexts, particularly in cancer treatment, further highlighting the importance of DACT2 in both basic and translational research.
