Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
Cytochrome b5 reductase 4 (CYB5R4) is a key enzyme involved in the cellular redox balance and is part of the b5 reductase family, which plays a crucial role in electron transfer processes. Research has indicated that CYB5R4 is important for maintaining the proper function of various metabolic pathways, including those related to lipid metabolism and nitrogen metabolism. Dysregulation of this enzyme has been linked to several pathological conditions, including cardiovascular diseases and certain types of cancer. The recombinant form of CYB5R4 is particularly valuable for detailed biochemical studies and potential therapeutic applications, as it allows for the exploration of enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, and the molecular mechanisms underlying its activity. Furthermore, the availability of recombinant CYB5R4 facilitates investigations into its role in cellular processes and interactions with other proteins. Understanding the structure-function relationship of CYB5R4 through recombinant protein technologies may reveal insights into its function and regulation, contributing to the development of novel therapeutic strategies targeting diseases associated with redox imbalances. In summary, the study of recombinant CYB5R4 offers significant promise in elucidating its biological role and potential implications in health and disease.
