Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
GCC1, or Golgi-Certificate Cadherin-1, is a protein that plays a crucial role in cellular adhesion and communication within the Golgi apparatus, an essential component of the endomembrane system responsible for processing and sorting proteins. Research into GCC1 has gained attention due to its potential implications in various biological processes, including cell differentiation, tissue development, and cancer metastasis. Abnormalities in GCC1 expression and function have been linked to various malignancies, highlighting its importance in tumor biology and emphasizing the need for a deeper understanding of its mechanisms. Furthermore, GCC1's interactions with other proteins within the Golgi apparatus suggest that it may be a critical player in the trafficking and processing of glycoproteins and glycolipids, influencing cell signaling and immune responses. As researchers explore the intricate roles of GCC1, the development of recombinant GCC1 proteins is of significant interest, as they can serve as valuable tools for elucidating the protein's functions, characterizing its molecular interactions, and investigating its potential as a therapeutic target. Overall, the study of GCC1 and its recombinant forms is poised to contribute meaningfully to our understanding of cell biology and its applications in medical science.
