Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC39A10, also known as ZIP10, is a member of the SLC39 family of zinc transporters, which plays a crucial role in maintaining cellular zinc homeostasis. Zinc is an essential trace element involved in numerous biological processes, including enzyme function, protein synthesis, and gene expression. Dysregulation of zinc transport can lead to various health issues, including immune dysfunction, impaired wound healing, and developmental disorders. Recent studies have implicated SLC39A10 in several pathophysiological conditions, such as cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant protein of SLC39A10 is being investigated for its functional characteristics, including its transport capacity, substrate specificity, and interaction with cellular signaling pathways. By producing and studying this recombinant protein, researchers aim to elucidate the mechanisms by which SLC39A10 regulates zinc transport and its impact on cellular physiology, which could further our understanding of diseases related to zinc deficiency or excess. Additionally, the availability of recombinant SLC39A10 may facilitate the development of novel therapeutic strategies aimed at modulating zinc homeostasis in disease contexts.
