Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
The SLC38A4 gene encodes a sodium-coupled neutral amino acid transporter that plays a crucial role in the transport of amino acids across cell membranes, particularly in the context of the central nervous system. This transporter is implicated in various physiological processes, including neurotransmission, nutrient absorption, and metabolic regulation. Abnormalities in SLC38A4 function have been associated with several neurological disorders, highlighting its potential as a therapeutic target. The recombinant protein of SLC38A4 has become an important tool for understanding its structural and functional properties, enabling researchers to study its substrate specificity, transport mechanisms, and regulatory pathways in vitro. By producing and characterizing SLC38A4 recombinant protein, scientists aim to elucidate its role in health and disease, paving the way for potential interventions in conditions where its function is compromised. Additionally, the study of SLC38A4 provides insight into broader transport mechanisms and their implications in cellular homeostasis, making it a significant focus of research within the fields of biochemistry and pharmacology.
