Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
COL14, a member of the collagen family, has garnered attention in recent years due to its unique structure and potential roles in various physiological and pathological processes. Initially identified in the context of connective tissue, COL14 is thought to contribute to the integrity and function of the extracellular matrix. Research has indicated that COL14 may play a crucial role in development, tissue repair, and the progression of diseases such as fibrosis and cancer, where aberrant collagen expression can lead to impaired tissue architecture and function. Furthermore, COL14's potential as a biomarker for certain diseases has prompted investigations into its expression patterns in health and disease. The recombinant production of COL14 protein has emerged as a key area of study, enabling researchers to explore its biochemical properties and interactions with other matrix components. This work not only enhances the understanding of COL14's biological functions but also paves the way for therapeutic applications, such as tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Continued research on the characterization and application of recombinant COL14 is essential for elucidating its role in cellular communication, wound healing, and disease modulation, ultimately contributing to the development of novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
