Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
SLC34A1, a member of the solute carrier family 34, encodes a sodium-dependent phosphate transporter primarily expressed in the kidneys and intestine. This protein plays a crucial role in regulating phosphate homeostasis, which is essential for various physiological processes, including bone mineralization and cellular metabolism. Mutations in the SLC34A1 gene are associated with hereditary hypophosphatemic rickets and other phosphate-related disorders, highlighting its significance in human health. Research on SLC34A1 recombinant proteins aims to elucidate its transport mechanisms, functional characteristics, and interaction with other cellular components. Advances in this area could lead to novel therapeutic strategies for managing phosphate imbalances and associated diseases. The production and characterization of SLC34A1 recombinant proteins not only provide insights into its molecular structure and function but also facilitate the development of assays for drug screening and the exploration of potential inhibitors or activators. Understanding the intricacies of SLC34A1 could ultimately contribute to improved treatment options for patients suffering from conditions linked to phosphate dysregulation.
