Stability Test
The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37℃ for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate isless than 8% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
-
Storage & Shelf Life
Samples are stable for up to twelve months from date of receipt at -20℃ to -80℃. Store it under sterile conditions at -20℃ to -80℃. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping
In general, recombinant proteins are supplied as lyophilized powder and shipped at ambient temperature. For bulk packages, the proteins are provided as frozen liquid and shipped with blue ice, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Protein Description
CUGBP1 (CUG repeat-binding protein 1) is an essential RNA-binding protein that plays a pivotal role in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. It is particularly known for its involvement in the regulation of mRNA stability, translation, and splicing, especially in the context of muscle development and differentiation. Dysregulation of CUGBP1 has been implicated in various diseases, including myotonic dystrophy, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer, where its altered function can lead to abnormal gene expression patterns. Research on CUGBP1 recombinant protein has gained momentum due to its potential therapeutic implications and as a model to understand its multifaceted roles in cellular processes. Characterizing the properties of recombinant CUGBP1 allows for a deeper understanding of its functional mechanisms, interactions with other cellular factors, and its impact on RNA metabolism. This knowledge can pave the way for innovative strategies in targeting CUGBP1-related pathways for therapeutic purposes. Furthermore, studying CUGBP1 at the molecular level can provide insights into general principles of RNA regulation, which is fundamental to cellular homeostasis and response to stress. Overall, the exploration of CUGBP1 recombinant protein not only holds promise for advancing our understanding of fundamental biology but also for developing novel approaches to treat diseases linked with its dysfunction.
